Terry Franks: BCal Engineering / Station Engineer
Sadly Terry passed on July 13th 2026 and is now at rest in France. My sincere condolences to wife Barbara, his family, friends and former colleagues.

Terry was ex BUA and BCAL, 23 years in total. He was Station Engineer Paris CDG working with Wally Pereira. After the BA Takeover, he joined DAN AIR and was their Base Engineer at CDG

I was his Station Manager in CDG from 1986-88 until the day BCAL ended. We had a fair few laughs in that time, with Wally and Brian his engineering shift partners. Knew he’d gone to Dan Air but lost touch with him when I went to Manchester. My wife Sarah knew him too
