Robert "Bob" Jacob: BCal Engineering
Sadly Bob, a BCAL Engineer in the build workshop, passed away last week (late April 2025) after at short illness, my sincere condolences go out to his family, friends and former colleagues.

I was Bob’s apprentice in the Engine Bay as my third shop. Used to love his stories about his RAF days. He introduced me to the ‘in’s and outs’ of the Le Touquet ‘run’. Great guy - sadly missed.

Sincere sadness to hear of the passing of another great mentor of my time spent in the Engine Bay at BCal. Bob's funeral was held on 7th May 2025 at the Surrey & Sussex crematorium in St Richards chapel.
