Jim Muscutt: BCal Engineer
Sadly Jim passed away at home on 13th February 2026, aged 83. My sincere condolences to his family, friends and former colleagues
Jim was an Engineer with BCal Engineering, initially in Hangar 1 but always Base Maintenance

I car shared with Jim, Bernie Graves, Ron Fuller and Tom Hamilton during my time in the hangars. I was an apprentice with Jim (and Bernie). My locker, in Hangar 1, was next to Jim's. It is with a heavy heart I write this tribute to a lovely man, a skilled engineer but above all, a mate with whom I have shared many a story. Some repeatable but others not so. May he fly with the angels and fix their wings with the same skills as on earth. RIP Jim.
