Ian Craig : Piper - British Caledonian Pipes & Drums
Sadly we have heard that Ian has passed away aged 86. My sincere condolences go out to his family, friends and former colleagues.
Ian was a Piper with the renowned Pipes & Drums of British Caledonian, and he travelled world meeting many leaders all whilst representing BCal.

Ian Graham Craig was born in Dundee on the 2nd Sept 1938. Dad moved to Oxford with my mum dad worked at the car factory painting the old MG sports cars. But in-between times he was working with BCal pipes and drums. I am not really sure when he started with them but l do know before that he was doing some promotions with Air France. Dad travelled all over the world and met many world leaders and many a film or rock star along the way. When in the USA he often got mistaken for Lee Marvin, visited Forth Worth with JR Ewing and the Cheers bar and the gang from there. Dad really enjoyed his time with them and with all his fellow band members and all the other staff.
