Brian Hopper: Region Sales Manager Birmingham
Brian sadly passed away on the 3rd November 2025. My sincere condolences go out to wife Heather, his family friends and former colleagues.
Brian worked for British Caledonian firstly in Toronto Canada from 1971 and then when he returned to the UK from 1973 until 1988 when he was Regional Sales Manager in Birmingham.

I was saddened to read of Brian's death. I had the great pleasure to work with Brian in Toronto in the early 70s when I took over from Bob Norris as Manager Canada. Brian took care of our offline scheduled sales while I concentrated on the charter operation. We worked together again in 1987 when I returned to the UK. In particular I recall his enthusiasm for England and all things English. He will be greatly missed.

I was very sorry to read about Brian. As I recall, Brian joined BCAL from the former Canadian Pacific Air Lines (CP Air). He became highly valued and a trusted friend to so many BCAL colleagues and industry contacts. Sincere condolences to Brian's family.
