Paul Jenkinson : Traffic
Sadly we learn that Paul passed away on 30th November 2020, Paul was a well-liked and respected colleague from Traffic. Paul was part of the BUA / BCal history who then went on to Saudia Airlines and FedEx in the Middle East. A huge character who will be sadly missed by many.

My sincere condolences to his family, friends and former colleagues.

Paul was a keen footballer and played regularly in the company football teams, here we see him back in the day, early 1970s.

Paul Remembered

From Alan Reeves
Paul was part of the BUA/BCal history who went on to Saudia Airlines and FedEx in the Middle East. A long time member of Copthorne Golf club and latterly Brighton. A huge character who will be sadly missed by so many, RIP Paul

From Steve Bispham
I was particularly sad to read of the passing of Paul.  I worked with Paul in the Traffic Training unit based at Gatwick in 1969/70. We had some fun times both in the UK and overseas as part of the training team.  He was always good company and being with him, life was never dull.  We lost touch after I left the business and went to Saudia in 1974 but I remember those far off days with great affection. My condolences go to his loved ones.

From Clive Clemson
Very sorry to hear this sad news, although we had lost contact for many years I will always chuckle when I recall Paul's explanation to new and gullible traffic staff who asked you why you had the blue colour between your training dept. uniform stripes, his answer was that you were a pilot who was qualified to fly over water

Sarah and I knew Paul well. I played football with him for several years in the late 60’s/early 70’s. After we both moved on from BCAL, met him again in mid-90’s in Saudi, when I was working with Manchester Airport - was as if we’d never had a break in the conversation. Great bloke! RIP Paul.
