We had a fantastic time at the Paris Reunion!
It was hard to believe that it had been ten years since our last get-together. Many people travelled from afar to attend the event and it was great to welcome friends from the UK. The turnout and the good humour were indicative of the pride we all had when working for British Caledonian.

We had a fantastic time at the Paris Reunion!
It was hard to believe that it had been ten years since our last get-together. Many people travelled from afar to attend the event and it was great to welcome friends from the UK. The turnout and the good humour were indicative of the pride we all had when working for British Caledonian.
The venue for the Reunion was the same as last time - Anahuacalli Restaurant, situated between Saint Germain and Notre Dame.
The “fiesta” started out with a Margarita cocktail which set the ambiance for the whole afternoon. Chef Tony Spinosa did us well with a succulent Mexican menu. One of the waiters (José-Manuel) was sporting a BCAL uniform jacket and tie!

We drank a toast to absent friends and unanimously decided to make the Paris Reunion an annual event. It was suggested that we schedule it a little later in springtime when the weather would be more predictable and maybe organise a boat-trip on the Seine before or after the lunch.
No Paris Reunion would be complete without our “Tartan Knickers” competition! Maybe it was the margarita and the wine but we decided to play “Pass the tartan knickers”. When the music stopped Françoise was declared “Keeper of the Tartan Knickers” till the next reunion
