Sadly we have heard that Mark has passed away. Mark worked in Crew Scheduling for BCal and later BA, and he was well regarded.
Mark had retired to Goa and was loving his life in retirement. My sincere condolences to his family, friends and former colleagues

I took Mark on his first ski trip to Austria and had the pleasure of showing him the basics and the "Bug" bit. He skiied frequently after that. Such a smashing guy. Great personality and sense of fun. Enjoy crewing the Angels in the sky. RIP Mark

Oh that is very sad news. I knew Mark and his brother, David, from our school days. Got to know Mark very well, when I joined British Caledonian Airways in 1978. Like myself, a massive David Bowie fan. Very sad news

I'm so sorry to hear about Mark. He was one of the most friendly and helpful guys in Crewing. Always cheerful. He was a regular at the big airline parties that we used to have in the 70's and early 80's in the big house near Guildford that I shared with other BCal pilots and air hostesses. He even came from Goa to attend the September 2019 Flight Deck and Cabin Crew Reunion.
