Roy Seddon Flight Engineer

Sadly Roy passed away, aged 89, in late October 2015. Our sincere condolences go out to Roy's family, friends and former colleagues. Roy was a Flight Engineer for BUA, BCal and finally British Airways.

Roy's service was held on 19th November 2015 at St Johns Church, Crowborough in East Sussex

Roy was part of a BUA VC10 flight crew that flew 50 technicians to Ascension Island in May 1969. The technicians were part of the Apollo Tracking Team and they relayed messages between the Tracking Station on Ascension and NASA in Houston.

Roy was also the Flight Engineer on BCal's inaugural DC10 service from Lagos via Abidjan to Gatwick on 2nd April 1982, onboard G-BEBM.
