It gives all the flight and crew details, at a particular point in the flight - a long way from today's seat back maps.......but just as effective - and it would have been passed from passenger to passenger.

The crew were Captain Terry R Egan, First Officer M M James and hostess Miss Carol Wender, onboard DC-3 G-ANEG

They were flying near Alderney at 168 mph with the next landmark afterwards being The Needles on the Isle of Wight

G-ANEG was formerly with Transair, though she was not one of their Dakmasters and was sold to Don Everall Aviation. She then came back into the fleet with Jersey Airlines, then BUA (CI)........

At some stage she did receive some of the Dakmaster enhancements.......possibly when sold to Don Everall.......she did get wheel bay doors for certain.......but the 168 mph speed suggests she did not have the engine modifications or was not at full cruising speed of 200mph.

All from a little piece of paper.

And if anyone recalls the crew it would be great to hear from you.
with Transair - no modifications

With Don Everall - now with wheel bay doors outside Transair Hangar at Croydon
