From George Banks
I was new to British Caledonian in 1973 but June was already a highly regarded check hostess and cabin trainer when I joined. I did a few flights on the 707 when she was on board and she was not only a lovely person but extremely professional. She operated on the 707 Caracas inaugural and was highly regarded by Training. My late colleagues Betty Shelton (catering operations Manager) and Mrs. Katie Wilde (head of catering) always spoke highly of her, and June kindly attended Betty's Funeral with me and my colleagues. In 1973/4 BCAL had a close knit catering team and June was always very highly thought of and I learnt a lot from her as she always set such high standards. RIP June
From Shirley Bell
Such great memories of working alongside June as part of the check/training department, and all the laughs we had together over the many funny incidents that cropped up during all the many courses we held over the years. Lovely lady.
