John Francke Maintenance Planning
Sadly John passed away on 2nd May 2016, he was 82. My sincere condolences go out to his family, friends and former colleagues.
John joined BUA in 1970 and worked through BCal until 1987 in Maintenance Planning. He was based in the new Hangar 5 once it opened.
John's service was held on 19th May 2016 at St Wilfred's Church in Haywards Heath, this was followed by a burial at Haywards Heath Cemetary

John is remembered here as one of the volunteers from Engineering who help host a visit by members of the World War II Guinea Pig Club.
These men endured injuries that needed pioneering plastic surgery following their return home.
John was one of a number of BCal staff who helped make their visit a special one back in 1985.
