Alan West : Interline Services Superintendent - Industry Affairs
Sadly Alan passed away peacefully on Sunday 4 September in his care home in Malmesbury where he had been for the last few months. My sincere condolences to his wife Deanna, friends and former colleagues.
Alan joined BUA in April 1968 and was with BCAL from then on being Ticket Desk supervisor, Senior Ticketing and Senior Support officer and finally Superintendent Agency & Interline Services / Marketing until March 1988 when he continued with BA as Agency & Interline Services Superintendent - Industry Affairs.

Alan, Ken and I all lived at Beverley and Alan, my best friend and ticket desk workmate, was instrumental in encouraging me to get to know Libby at a Beverley party in 1968. Libby and I married in 1972 with Alan at my side as best man. RIP Alan.
