The Vickers VC10, arguably one of the most graceful airliners ever built, they were favoured by the travelling public. Though BUA and BCal only had a fleet of four VC10's they served many of their most profitable routes as well as many charters too. Here we have some more photos, I hope you enjoy them
We start with quite a rare photo, G-ASIW at LGW wearing Sierra Leone titles. This photo was taken on 1st November 1964 and by all accounts she was in this livery for only a few days. BUA had been involved with Sierra Leone Airways since 1961 and flew services to London on their behalf in tandem with their own. There is an SLA (BUA) VC10 postcard too, but not many images exist still.
