From Roger Creasey
I knew Ray when he first started with us and when he was made an inspector he used to shadow me to gain experience and I spent many a happy time on the BAC 1-11 teaching him and clearing him for engine runs etc. Ray was a very nice and very clever lad. I asked him one day how he memorised all the data he told me he used a highlighter to cover important parts of a paragraph and after that he could memorise all the paragraph.
From Jim Wilson: I learnt so much from Ray when I was an Apprentice, RIP
From Keith Aitken
Sad to note that Riaz has died. I rented a house in Burgess Hill from him when I was an Operations D/O with Laker in the 70s.
From Tony Rider: I first met Ray in 1967 when I was an apprentice, he will be missed, RIP Ray
From Ian & Frank Lucas: Sorry to hear Ray has passed. RIP Ray
