Lydia Remembered

From George Banks
On my many visits to Casablanca I will always remember Lydia sitting at her desk in the BCAL street level office at Hotel Casablanca. Always welcoming with a warm smile, (as all the BCAL Casablanca staff were) she always had numerous questions to ask me about the new menus and catering so she could give this information to her passengers and use as a marketing tool.

Over the years Casablanca was served by the VC-10, 707 (en route to South America), and the 1-11-500 on the Coastal African service. The 707 also stopped once weekly on the LGW CMN FNA ROB schedule for a while.

From Karen Rayner : R.I.P Lydia. Sending thoughts and love to all her family xxxx
