BCal Leonard Crosbie   Customer Services Director
It is sadness we hear that Leonard has passed away. He passed on the 6th September 2020 and had recently retired due to ill health. Leonard had taken on a role as a Councillor in Horsham, and he served the Trafalgar Ward for 25 years. My sincere condolences go out to his family, friends and former colleagues.

Leonard rose through to be Customer Services Director before becoming GM Air Liberia.

A small family service was held at 10am on Wednesday 16th September from St John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Horsham with a committal at the nearby cemetery afterwards.

Any donations in Leonard's name to the Motor Neurone Disease Association, MNDA, thank you.

From Tony Cocklin
That is sad news. I remember Leonard very well from when he joined Caledonian in the late 60s from the Economist Intelligence Unit. I think he was originally on the corporate affairs/research side with John de la Haye, but went on to become Customer Services Director with BCAL. Leonard was a lively, popular person and good company. His wife Mary was also a popular figure among the BCAL community

From Karol Powrie (now Kane)
I do remember Leonard, he was quite a character. like so many who are attracted to the airline business.  Did not know him well but do remember being in Sierra Leone (I think) at the same time and having fun with Sir Adam and Leonard and Watching them playing golf with the then President whom I think was Robert Taylor.

From Geoffrey Lord
Sad indeed. I was fond of Len and enjoyed working with him in Liberia. He was quite a character and we had many a pleasant refreshment together!

From Pauline & Phil Bowell
Pauline and I were very sorry to hear of the loss of Leonard. I knew Len in his Customer Services role and also in his Councillor role at Horsham District Council. A good man who was always keen to help. RIP Len
