Captain Hamilton "Bluey" Wilson

Sadly Bluey passed away on 10th January 2017. Our sincere condolences go out to his family, friends and former colleagues. Bluey's service was held, in Australia, on 23rd January 2017.

Bluey had been diagnosed with a brain tumor, the prognosis was not good, and he succumbed to his condition, with his three sons close by as he was living on the family farm in Pinnaroo, South Australia

I am pleased we were able to connect Bluey with a good few of his former colleagues over the past few weeks and hope that he took comfort from those messages.

The family would like to thank all those who were able to send messages and have asked to pass on this message:

"Please let everyone know and thank them so much for their emails of support, prayers and good wishes.

He greatly valued all his friendships with and all that were associated with BCAL; and only spoke fondly of everyone.

His study is fully of pictures and models of the aircraft he had flown and even has 2 uniforms too. Over the past few weeks, Bluey valued all of those friendships and only ever spoke fondly of all the people he knew."
