Cherry Epps (nee Jackson)
Cherry passed away peacefully 2nd February 2016 after a brave battle with cancer. Cherry was very happily married to Derek Epps, also a BCal Manager of long standing, and our thoughts are with him, their family and former colleagues.
Cherry's service was held on 22nd February 2016 at Bournemouth Crematorium.
The friends and family of Cherry held a gathering on 30th July 2016 to remember her. They met up in Tilgate Park, near Crawley, and spent a nice afternoon remembering Cherry.

Most of my Ticket Desk colleagues will best remember Cherry for managing our team in her very own inimitable style, for her legendary organisational skills, treating everyone fairly, not suffering fools lightly and for her great sense of humour! I'm sure very many of you will join me in feeling a great sense of loss and sadness. She was my best friend for so many years and for that I will always be so grateful but she leaves a gap that will be impossible to fill. Sleep peacefully Cherry we'll all miss you. Xx

Cherry was a treasured friend and Geoff (Walford) and I had many lovely holidays with her and Derek. Although I did not work with her she will form part of lovely memories that I have. Hopefully she is up there with my lovely partner Geoff Walford smiling down on us and telling us to get on with it.

It was so long ago, although I remember Cherry so very well: always calm, wise, and pleasant, with a wonderful sense of humour; a pleasure to work with. RIP.
