The BAC 1-11 served BUA, Caledonian and British Caledonian for many years, BUA being the launch customer. Here we have some more photos of 1-11's in all liveries taken over their long years of service. I hope you enjoy them
Here we see Caledonian's first and third BAC 1-11 Series 500 at Gatwick. Three were ordered on 14th March 1968, with an option for a fourth; G-AWWX "Flagship Isle of Skye" arrived in March 1969, WY followed the same month, with WZ arriving in April 1969. The option was converted to an order and G-AXYD would arrive in March 1970.
